Little Thurrock School Holiday Club
Little Thurrock school holiday club provides for children aged between four and eleven years old. Childcare is available Monday to Friday during all half term breaks, Easter and also the first five consecutive weeks of the school summer holiday period.
Two sessions take place at Little Thurrock holiday club
£27.00 is charged per session from: 7:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
£29.00 is charged per session from: 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
A 10% discount is given for attending on a full time basis for a minimum of one complete week.
Fees are payable in advance. Places will only be secured once full payment received. See our payment policy for further details.
Snacks will offered/ provided throughout the day as follows:
10:00 a.m. Morning snack
Fruit
Yoghurts
Raisins
Cracker Breads
12:00 p.m. Lunch
NB Lunch is not provided, children must bring their own packed lunch.
2:00 p.m. Afternoon snack – cooking activity
Cake
Biscuits
Fruit bread
4:00 p.m. High tea
A high tea will be offered each day at gearies after school club. This will consist of an assortment of healthy nutritional hot & cold snacks such as:
Pasta dishes
Jacket potatoes
Wraps
Sandwiches
Soups & salads
Fruit portions
Yoghurt
Water is always available for children to help themselves to. Copies of our menus will be displayed on the Parents Notice Board and the food provided will be additive and colour free as much as is feasible. Specific dietary requirements can be accommodated, subject to adequate notice.
The children are received by a member of staff at the beginning of each session, throughout which, each individual child is catered for according to his/her age and needs.
A general programme of activities on offer will be posted on the Parents Notice Board. The programme of activities will be researched and planned to best utilise the areas of .
N.B. The Holiday Care programme will be varied and will be displayed on the Parents Notice Board, prior to Holiday Club commencing.
Parents should provide soft-soled indoor shoes and appropriate outdoor shoes and clothing. Aprons will be worn during messy play and painting however, we cannot be held responsible for damage to clothes.
Storage areas are provided in a suitable area of the club so that parents may temporarily leave personal items if desired.
N.B. Holiday Clubs do not operate on Bank Holidays.
